Day 13: Loch Ness to Bonar Bridge.
First 10 miles along the north shores of Loch Ness, then cut
north to avoid Inverness by going over the hills through The Aird
and Muir of Ord to Dingwall for lunch.
Feeling much fresher today - last night's weariness thankfully has not hung around.
After lunch up the north shore of the Cromarty Firth, mooring point for redundant oil rigs, or maybe they were just in for repair. Finally to Bonar Bridge, where we are in a B& B tonight. After our evening meal, plan to turn in early. We've done 60 miles, but thankfully no rain, a following wind and not too hot.
Tomorrow we hit the north coast - only two days to go!!!
