Day 15: Tongue to John O'Groats. - 64 miles making 1027 in total.

We made it! ....... a whole mixture of feelings........... just amazed that we've done it, and that we haven't got to do any more tomorrow.

Looking out over a calm sea (10:13 pm), the weather still fine as it has been all day. Initially we faced a number of hills around Tongue, but road has gradually flattened out as the day has gone on, and with a gentle breeze from the west blowing us along its been a fantastic finale. Another warm day too.

So we've had all the official photos, and now checked into the Youth Hostel, where there's another pair of tandem riders who've also arrived today. They've come a slightly different route, and we've had a long conversation with them. Our few niggles with the bike fade away compared with the catalogue of problems that they recounted, including the replacement of four back wheels. (We've had no problems at all today.)
